Thumbs up

Thanks RotorGeek, great pics. I'm glad you showed little details I never had a chance to look at before, like the lighter socket tunnel bin, the open rear window, and the rear lip spoiler. Look forward to more if you have them. Do you have a shot of the handbrake in the down position?

I noticed one of the pics was flipped, I thought it was a right driver at first.

On pic 5 (RX5), why does the steering wheel show on the right side than the left? Did you flip the picture?

Thanks for the pics Rotorgeek! Unfortunately I'm not sure I'll be able to make it down there to see it in person...damn it! The seating looks perfect and since I'm only 5' 6" I know it will have plenty of room front and back for my needs.

The power outlet looks perfect for having a cell phone connected and sitting inside the storage compartment while it's still closed.

The gauges sound awesome and I really like the fact you can change the color on them. The blue should look awesome and go nicely along with the blue exterior I ordered!

Thanks again!

Actually, having had an HKS exhaust on a moderately modified Nissan 240SX I had for a few years, I'm kinda partial to the HKS exhaust note when it comes to imports.... I think it would sound "perfect" on the RX-8 given the description of the exhaust note by several members so far, but only the in-person test will tell for sure. Not to mention good power gains!

RotaryXTypeSH: The Key is was a plain Mazda Key with a FOB but this was a pre production unit. Maybe Preorders get the Key your talking about.

The Greddy note is crap.. I like a deep note. The N1 I have on my FD has a nice note but it's bit loud. BTW, I put it on the car before the whole super rice revolution occured. In hind sight, I would have used an N2 which look's stock.

Hey guys I will post more pics soon. Lets see where to start.

If you are 5'10 or 6ft and the rear passanger is the same you will not have a problem, Legroom is tight but not unbareable becuase the rear seats are sooo frecken comfortible. You recline back alot soo head room is not a problem.

Yeah the rotor motif is only in the front of the leather car, I have not seen the cloth one yet, maybe today.

The looked like a regular key . This was a production model I'm hoping it will be a rotor key once it's out.

I will post more as soon as I can

Everyone was wondering about the light under the mirrors. Well here is a shot of the pre production with a plastic cover where the light will be.

That was the same car that I got to molest at the New Orleans Hooters last night (I was there just for the wings of course ) For all of you tall guys out there, I am 6'5" and fit with no real problems, so you all should be o.k. First post too, so say hi to the newb.

DTECH,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Long story behind the name, but it involved the usual suspects of high school, and a couple of girls:D. I miss those days.

Wakeech,

Thanks for the welcome. I'm sure if I hang around long enough the story will come out . I'm only 24 now, so the geritol will have to wait a few years, but yea, I miss the times when my biggest concern was which party to go to.

RotorGeek,

Thanks for posting those great photos. Is that what the red color looks like in real life? Sweet.

By the way, what camera are you using. NICE!

Thanks,

Yeah the red looks real nice in the sun. It has a goldish look to it. Very nice indeed.

I Have a Olympus C-50 digital cam with 5 megapixel. It's small and takes awesome pics
