I think the 8 is it.

I think the 8 is it.
After careful consideration, I may have to buy the 8, finally. I have weighed the factors, and a lot of things have happened since last time I was on this site and now... I think the 8 is the one.
I want a new car. The Spyder is getting up there in miles (85K). I want a car with seating for more than one. So I really think the 8 is the only car I can choose.
The A4 (my personal favorite) has the looks and the greatest interior, with that amazing lighting and the solid feel and flawless design.. but it handles like a tall sedan and the shifter pretty much sucks. The 2.0T is nice, but nothing major.
The BMW 3 series is a better handler, but too pricey and it still feels like I'm driving a big-ish 4-door.
I am over the STi and the Evo. I was all about their performance, but everything else is just sub-standard.
I'll miss my Spyder.
But- i think the 8 will give me the true handling of a sportscar, the look of a sportscar, and that linear power- there's ntohing else like it. All this with seating for four.
Now I just have to decide on black or silver, and new or used. Looks like a low-mileage '04 with navigation can be had for under $23,000. Awesome.

Get VR... it has gold glitters to insulate the heat as you are travelling at warp speed.

Whichever color you choose, I know you'll love your 8. Most everyone at this site is hooked on its many features, including the super good looks, styling, sound, handling and the fact that it gets a lot of attention wherever you go!

I'm a titanium grey owner, so my first instinct was to recommend the silver. But after thinking about it, black is just a great color with the 8. I vote for black, tint the hell outta the windows, and throw on some clear corners and fender strakes!
