Update on what's going on with my RX8.

OK well I Just got my car today after it spend 2 nights at the Service, Where they said we tried to figure out why (( I SAY IT DOSE what I said it dose )) any ways they fixed what ever I told them was wrong with the car, now they said if it happens Again just bring it back and we will exchange it for u for a different one.

The manager Was going to give me another one right then but the manger of the service dep. and the mazda rep both said lets give it one more chance if it fails we going to Exchange it for another one. I said OK.

I know the car is going to go back gain soon in like few days and they all know the next time am back its going to stay their for good and its either am taking my money back or am driving a new RX8 !!.

Things got fixed are THE Power or break fluid LEAKING CIg lighter and nothing relay done about the LOSE of oil.

According to the Service Dep. they say they tell their customers to have an Extra Quart of oil in their car to add it in after 500 MILS. You Guys think is True or some B.S ??

 

The fact that that one was a pieace of **** doesn't make them all a piece of ****, I mean you can go through hundreds of postings, and keep seeing people talk about how much they like their car.

I would say to get a new RX8 or let them do their thing

 

That sounds a bit extreme to me! After 1500 miles, I was down only about 3/4 quart. But on a good note, it reads as if they are working with you and if one more thing happens, then they won't hesitate to help you . :D

 

I agree- you'd have to drive really, really hard to go through that much oil that fast. From what I've seen on this forum, most people are around 1Qt/2000miles, which is what I also had over the first 2k. Lately though I've been pushing my 8 to the limits the last few weeks, and I just added 3/4 quarts after 1000 miles last night. Zoom zoom has it's price :D

 

i you read the canadian forum i had a problem with my first 8... it had defective parts on it they didnt tell me which ones but they gave me a brand new one after my dad finished yelling at my cousin who is the sales manager there

 

Your first 8? I thought you had a truck?

 

GAME OVER for them NOW I just had it with them.

After fixing the Things I said that they did FIX The freaking Break's now acting all stupid I have to push the breaks almost half way DOWN just to get the feeling that the car is slowing DOWN, And its making some Strange Noise when u Hit the breaks quick like AN ABS When u Hit it.

Any Ways 1st thing in the Morning am Down there I already talked to them and he Said to come down thier and we will see Wasup with it now.

All am Saying right here is its the End Of it and NO MORE NOW.

 

how hard do you drive this caR? just curious.

 

i drive it like new while its NEW Never went over 6000 rpm's b!!
