I want to convert my rx8 to right hand drive
#51
Modification is all about individuality, if someone wants to do a RHD conversion and happy with, he should do it as he wish and we shouldn't be nasty about it. However, many people would think the same is that this conversion will create so much hard work and minor bugs afterward, as it is a big job indeed. It would be easier to purchase a RHD car from Japan or Asia and craft back the important bits from the LHD unit.

The OP is either a troll, or a kid between 15-17yrs old who doesn't know jack about cars. If you don't know jack about cars, you ask your friends who do. If you don't have friends who know jack about cars, you learn from movies, videogames, and anime, all of which teach you that nothing takes turns faster than a drifting 1986 Toyota Camry, Exhaust + spoiler = 100 extra horses, and that anyone who owns a car that was manufactured for Japanese roads is the direct decendant of Car-Jesus himself.
I'm assuming that the only reason the OP wants RHD is due to the "holy ****! I think Jesus is driving that car -- It's from JAPAN" factor. I highly doubt the OP wants RHD for any reason other than to "look cool." If you want to look cool in an RX8 all you have to do is learn how to drive it properly. The sexy body styling already turns the heads of the opposite sex, and the rotary wirr already catches the attention of car enthusiasts - all you have to do is drive it sexy (FYI sexy driving != fast driving).
If you're looking to upgrade/mod something on your new car, start with thing located between the steering wheel and seat.

I lived in Japan for a while and shifting lefty is something you get used to. Any way, this kid has to be crazy to go to that amount of trouble just to try to look cool. And when he is behind a blue hair and can't pass without the risk of a head on with a semi, he will regret it.
P.S.- If you have to go to that much trouble to TRY to look cool, the chances are that you are not and you will not be cool.
