Use common sense, please. If your windows are iced over, please don't drive until you can see.
I know that not everyone has a garage. But if you have one that's got $3000 worth of junk in it, toss the stuff to make room for your $30,000 car! No ice, no worries, and in most climates the inside of your garage stays above freezing.
When the car is cold, don't push it hard. Someone said RPMs under 3K...I disagree. This engine seems to 'like' running between 3 and 4K. It's not a diesel. Keep it under 5K, I say.
Also, avoid agressive acceleration during warmup. Actually, avoid agressive ANYTHING until the car is warm -- any car, actually, not just 8's. Fluids work best at the temps they see at 'operating temperatures'. This goes for oils, hydraulic fluids, coolants and fuels.
In other words, like many of us in the morning, take it easy on us until we're fully awake.
