Let's see...you are 17, just got the car for 3 months, and u race ppl already? I hope you are not doing that on the street~
And to answer your question, there is nothing in the market right now that will give you "decent" power except N2O. Maybe focus on suspension/appearance upgrade first?

Tell dad and mom that you intend to race a new car on the streets to show your friends you really can. Nice that a 17 yr old can have such a fine car and want to race it. Why didn't you just get a GTO and get all the cash deductions and get over with it? You certainly could beat most folks in drag races with a GTO. You might be more safe to try the race stuff on a legal track in your area however. Geesh I never had a car until I was 22 but hey! your really doing great to have a new car like an RX-8. Treat it good then and perhaps stop thinking about buying race equipment for the car or trade it in for that GTO. By all means you should for safety purposes and the increased chance you could hurt someone or yourself and not race on public streets. Geesh.

Doesn't anyone care for mediocre anymore??? :D
j/k with ya.
Congrats on the new ride... take care of her... and the best way is to learn what you can and can't do with it... everyone should take a few classes on driving. Not driver's ed, high perf driving.

well not exactly..im younger than you and i respect this car in and out. Personally the rx8 is more than enough car for anyone. To afford my rx8 i spent my savings so i rightly deserve it. I should post pics of my velocity red with a few hundred bucks of mods spent on it, but there's more to come. Anyways congrats yo, it's a great ride
