I'm new...

Please be gentle.

Just bought my 2004 Winning Blue today. I'll get some pics tomorrow (since I'm sure none of you yet know what a blue RX-8 looks like :D ). Any particular threads I should read to get started? I still just have about 270 miles on the odometer, so anything to do with breaking in, etc. would be hugely helpful!

If you start reading all the threads you need to check, you'll never get it broken in. Do a search on "breaking in" and you'll get a bunch of hits, I think. You should also check the Racing Beat site for a safe, if frustrating, process that will consume about 2000 miles.

Another 8 in Indiana! Make plans to the attend the Rotary Revolution in April at IRP. The Indy peeps get together occasionally for cruising or other fun.

Welcome to the loonie bin! People here are universally nuts about their RX-8s. We're a cruel bunch, but fair. :D

Lol... Sounds much like the Miata forums I just retired from. This should be fun. :D

And Foxman, definitely let me know when everyone plans another get-together! I'm going to get signed up for the rotary meet as well.
