Looks good Kay. The extras help the looks even more.

Some folks like AT's for different reasons, especially if they have to sit in stop & go traffic a lot. And some are just secure enough to let their gears be shifted automatically.

 

The icon is the North Up icon. It is the default mode and I was in that mode to look for a pizza place on the other side of the country.

Normally I am not in north up. It took me quite a while to figure out from the manual how to get it into normal mode. The icons in the owners manual are all just little black blobs that you can hardly see.

Nothing red in the trunk. The optional spare time comes on a puke yellow rim.
I gotta paint that black one of these days as I can't stand seeing the thing when I open the back seat divider/storage unit.

Tanned seats are nasty...? What are you two smoking? They look classy, I wanted red at first but I couldn't find a used one with the red interior, but found a great deal with tanned seats. I'm happy I went with the tan, I can't imagine living (or not going blind) with red seats and a red steering wheel.

Anyway, you AT butt-buddies can enjoy yourselves.

Man, you are funny. Actually, the tan/black combo is nice... just not on a red car. And, I have a manual, so to say that I'm an AT butt-buddy is wrong. Also to say that I would go blind with the red interior is wrong too... I have all black leather. So, congrats on being wrong twice in one post.

 

I think that all of 5 people on this forum have the tan leather with the VR. About 70% have the red/black. You should probably keep your mouth shut about the red/black. For future reference, I like the red/black.

I don't think that because it looked good, but because no one else wanted it. Maybe.

For the long-term test in Car and Driver, they had a red with the tan/black combo. One of the editor's remarks about it was "...and whoever came up with this color combo should be flogged..." So, I don't think it's just me.

 

Just not a red car, what makes you say that? Have you seen a red rx8 with a tanned interior? Would you like to go in a car show contest? I never said you had an AT, and by red interior I was talking about the thread author and Jedi. Way to be wrong thrice in one post, OH SNAP!!!

 

Honestly, I do not want to get into it with another person on this forum that I will never see in person. It's just pointless. So, congrats on your car and I hope that you continue to like the combo. And, if it's what you want, then by all means I am glad that you have it.

But, please don't come into someone's thread about one of their mods and criticize them for something that they cannot change... especially when the person did nothing to provoke this action out of you.

 

Look at RX-8 sales nationally. Then here in the metroplex, where they are a rarity to begin with. Then look at the number of used RX-8s sold. Then get back to me.

I've posted pics of my interior before, and got compliments, even people telling me I should stick with the tan (I considered getting another aftermarket color). So I don't think I need to listen to your trolling.
