Any explanation of how you confirmed your engine being blown? What physical signs can you see? Was the failure definitely at the wastegate- do you have any bent/missing fins? I really feel for you man- sorry about your car.

well ladies and gents, after a very VERY hectinck week of fixing, screwing some more stuff, and trying to install a boost gauge that apparently only goes from 0-vacuum -15-0 and never goes into boost etc etc.....my car is finally running
running very f'ing rich on the base map, but running nonetheless, and running very very well at that, I haven't tried 0-60 yet since I can't go past 5k rpm in first gear (it bogs down cus of richness) but I can in second,
btw, my car is very fast
woot
so yea people, if Taj can install a mazsport turbo (without anything going TERRIBLY wrong) I'd say it's user-friendly
besides the cutting motor mount to make it fit with the oil return line
and the oil return line
and the retarded water feed and return (easier if you just tap the coolant bypass mod)
and the very hard to install turbo snail (it's ******* huge, no joke)
and the fuel pump, which apparently needs a special tooll to remove and reinstall
apart from that
it's good to go, and runs out of box, even if it's a bit rich

taj, its really easy to make a homemade camera mount.
what you need:
2 triangle pieces of thin plywood
1 2x3 approximately 45" long
2 really long bolts with nuts
1 bolt that screws into your camera (take cam to hardware store)
a lot of washers
put the triangle pieces in front of the rotor accents and put the bolt through them. the bolts continue through the 2x3. this makes a solid mounting point at roughly neck level across the car. put a hole (it'll be angled, drill carefully) through the center of the 2x3, put the camera bolt through and attach the camera. put washers in between camera and bolt if its not tight.

would you do the honors swoope?
but seriously though, I don't think it's such a good idea, seeing as my car is probably slower than stock -_-
