Instrument Cluster Glass Removal

Hi everyone,

I have had my rx8 for a long time and this whole time i had some sort of dried liquid on the glass of the instrument clusters. because i was going to school i had no time to attempt to fix it and so i ignored it. I have searched but cannot seem to find out how to take the glass off of the cluster. does anyone have any idea as to how to do this? it is bugging me and would like to clean it.

I have the same issue. I haven't searched in a long time, so I don't know if there is an answer (although, I do recall reading something about the plastic not being able to come out )

I think it's plastic, not glass, too. If it's on the outside, and it really bugs you, you might want to try this:

Really good stuff. True, I suppose it might not work, but I doubt it would make it worse than it is now.

How the hell it got there in the first place?! Anyway, the only way to get that cleaned up is to take out the dash completely, then you could remove the plastic cover and just clean it up. Good luck.
