Interesting MPG/Fuel advice on Mazda site.

Site says:
Use a high-quality fuel with an octane rating appropriate for your vehicle, and use the lowest octane possible.

Thoughts??????

I have been buying 89 now for 4 weeks and get noticably better gas mileage. 17.5->18-19 mpg

Can you post the link?

It's just a generalization, not specific to the 8 or any one Mazda vehicle.
