intro bought mine last night
Blue, 6 speed with sport package and tire kit That's it.
I think I like it. ALOT. this is actually wife's car named "the broom" which replaces 04 Cooper S named "mini"

It may be just me but if I drop 26K on a car it should not EVER give me a problem in the 1st 12,000 miles. Sore subject
and the ride although sporty, a Cooper S is not designed for the long road trip.
The RX-8 reminds of my 1st love the 928. Speed, comfort, handling and brakes that are Oh my Gosh just stunning.

thats what i expected too, but you didnt get a toyota, you got a mazda. so expect anything.
But if there are problems it won't go on for very long.

how much is the msrp , how much you got off the msrp , your financer , and your monthly payment. sorry because of asking too much . i might go buy it next months with the same option as yours.
