Hey, I just wanted to introduce myself.
I recently got an 04 RX8 and love the car. This is my first rotary and its impressive.
I'm a mechanic by hobby. I've done almost everything you can do under the hood of a car, my latest project was restoring a 95 Mercedes S500 Coupe, I basicaly brought that car home in pieces and had to rebuild everything.
Rotary is a whole other story, I dont know much about them at all, although I have been watching videos of rebuilds and reading threads to get a better understanding.
Recently got some CELs just about a week after buying the car. P0610, P2070, and P0138, luckily the emission warranty is going to take care of getting a new PCM and we'll go from there.
The CEL is off now, and it wasn't reset, so hopefully the ssv being stuck was just a fluke (stuck just long enough to throw the code or something)
Anyway, just thought I'd say hello
Patrick

Thanks, luckily i'm not so new to automotive forums (they have helped me for years, and I have learned quite a bit about every car i've owned or worked on from them) so I'm fairly good at finding what I need through the "Search" feature lol
