You seem very knowledgable about the different discount plans, I qualify for the S-Plan and I am in a dilema as to getting the car now without the discount or wait til.... My question is how accurate is the January 2004 estimate for S-Plan eligibility. Thanks.

 

As it stands right now, the E & S plans are scheduled to be effective in Jan. Of course if the RX8 is selling extremely well and availability is low they could extend it past Jan. Of course, if the opposite happens, they might make it earlier. Of course we don't want that senario to play out. Also, your dealer might cut you a deal on one that he has in stock prior to that. SPlan cost would be just a few dollars below invoice anyway. The dealers inventory is going to determine everything. I'm hoping we have a few sitting by Sept. so I can take one as a Demo. Ha. The allocations were based on several sales criteria for the dealers and we earned 12, 20,24,13 & 13 on the allocations so far. Good luck with your dealer.
