Congratulations! I'm curious, how can you have all those mods if your car just come off the truck today?

Wow that is crazy, so do you sleep with them?

Maybe you'll drop the Brembo GT big brake kit as your next mod after you get test out the stock brakes. From every post I read here, they are awesome. Ohhh with that kinda money, you can purchase all of your Long Run mods!!!

Navnav!

I'm dying for a nav review!

How is it? Useful?

Can you make changes while driving?

How are the voice commands?

Reroute work?

Is the interface speedy?

*the 06 has all new nav hardware, right?*

Yes, it's useful.
The voice commands are perfect.
There is reroute and it works like a charm.
The interface takes about 3 seconds. It's really fast.

I have an '04 and would probably still be lost if I didn't have nav.

I have to wait until next week. They sent my car back this evening and it is now supposed to come back down next week fixed.

Fourflush said his was ready Sunday but he had surgery so he can't pick it up and drive it yet.

You won.

Enjoy!!!!

Does the nav system require voice training?

Whoa, this is news to me. I didn't realize the nav system was any different for 2006. I still think the new entry system is the coolest addition. It's like magic!

Mazda's website says something about full voice command, or something like that. I'm wondering if that means you talk to it and it understands you, or if it is just referring to it talking to you to give the directions. I'll be sure to find out about it next week when I am supposed to get it, so I can be sure to program my new work address in and also "home" in case I get randomly lost at some point.

Yeah, I'd be interested to hear if it has either of those talking features. I didn't play around with the nav system too much when I was test driving them, but I've heard that the nav system in the earlier 8's was so bad that you had to be completely lost to want to enter in an address because of the interface.

Just curious about the mods in your signature. Since it just came off the truck, did you order it with all suspension mods, or have you been working on it while it was on the truck?

So, the important question...is the nav 100% functional while driving?

Does it lock out input changes?
Does it take verbal commands?

I think the "changes" were that it is supposed to take verbal commands, but I don't know yet. That was how it sounded to me by reading the description on the website.
