I doubt you are the first owner of a 2006. A lot of people who buy these cars only come here AFTER they buy it (not you, or me... but a lot of people).
If you really want to know, maybe MNAO will tell you what the delivery date was of the first 2006 RX-8's
So did you see the old plugs? Were the new ones in the glovebox like some others have stated?

Delivery date was the end of March week three at dealerships for the first batch, told to me by MNAO. No one has purchased any of the 06's available here in Oregon yet (at least as of yesterday), so I will be the first in the state. If Roxanneblack8 doesn't get a move on I may be the first on here with pictures posted. Yay!!! Only a few more hours to go!!!

i wont be postin pics, bunny u will beat me. but as far as bein the first 06 owner, i meant on the east coast bc west side got theirs a little bit before us on the cursed side of america. if there is anyone who got the 06 b4 me on the east coast, they would had to have ordered it as early as me and bunny, and if ur that excited about gettin the 8, ud have been here for months talkin bout it likes us 2.

i pulled the plugs out myself, they were the updated style (the leadings have 4 slots in them to give a spot for the fuel to go, and the trailings have a slightly hotter heat range than before) the plugs were not COMPLETELY fouled, but they were black, and smelled like raw fuel, not good. yes, the plugs come ina box in the glove compartment. u also have to check the battery cca's and other crap. its all part of the FQI. it was cool doin all the work on my own car, the people at work are jealous jerks tho. im 20 yrs old and they all are jealous and think my parents r buyin it, theyt r so wrong, ive worked hard to save $ for it and i can finally buy what i want....more power to the working class! right bunnygirl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep!!! The guy at the dealership that I ordered and took delivery from thought I was nuts when I told him I had two full time jobs plus a third on-call job, until I showed him my pay stubs for the financing. Then he was "amused" when I told him at I lived at home with my mom and rent was $150 a month. He said "Wow!! I want that arrangement." LOL
Fortunately I didn't have to disclose my massive pile of medical bills because they are listed under my mom's name now and I pay those, so they have never showed up on my credit report against me.
