I've Been Looking Everywhere!

Alright, new straight out of mustangforums.com after totaling my stang, where can I find a mazda/rx8 navigation dvd online to download for free? You know, totally for backup purposes and in no way illegal...

You can buy one from the company for a few hundred. Google around it is probably available in other nefarious ways.

Search. There is a thread on the updated DVD. I'm not sure if someone made a copy and uploaded it, but look for the thread. If anything, try ebay or post a WTB thread. I may have an extra disk that I can let go for the right price.

WTF? No, you haven't search. I tried searching myself and I already came up with a whole list of informative threads with JUST TWO KEY WORDS there are mentioned in this tiny thread. It took a mere five seconds.

Here's a HUGE hint. "Navigation DVD"... Hell, here's an even bigger hint "NAVTEQ DVD". No more spoon feeding, okay?

TX Why

would anyone want the RX8 nav system when
one can use the voice activated one in the Gphone S3?

Voice activated so no buttons to use.
Gets update more often than the RX8 one.

Can use more than one..from the Aos apps ie Google play

One less device take care of

You can't back up something you don't already own or have license to use. What year is your car? I may have one I can sell you.

The 04-08 factory NAV is worthless. Don't waste your time. Even the "updated" disk is way outdated.

If you look at the URL itself that is displayed, it shows the subfolder of where the thread is on the site. Some deduction from there should make it clear why you can't access it, and why it won't be re-linked.

On topic, I got one of these for my Xoom tablet:
Amazon.com: Arkon Tablet Seat Bolt Mount (TAB-FSM): Electronics Amazon.com: Arkon Tablet Seat Bolt Mount (TAB-FSM): Electronics

And it works perfect for putting the nav, music, web radio, whatever at the right point for easy access. Provides everything I would have wanted from an OEM nav or an aftermarket Car PC in one compact package that I can transfer from car to car and take with me if I don't want it visible.

Why do you want a RX8 Nav DVD after totaling your Mustang?
