How about a set of coilovers for under $750?
They can lose the adjustablity of the better coilovers, but would retain the firmer springs, adjustable height, and better shock valving of your better models. This would be much more "entry level", not a track set-up.
**edit** I mean "better than stock shock valving" **edit**

N/A tuning products and/or a possible super charger kit. I know you specialize in suspension and flow and all, but the 8 is a car that really is just a dang good sports car that lacks power. Hands down, that's the only REAL weakness of this car IMO. Almost EVERY review of the car says the same.

JICs that don't leak or break in 1/2 like on STIs or EVOs. (I personally saw one that the shaft had about 1/16"-1/8" of side to side play coming out of the base.)
Essentially: greater tolerances and product support that when something DOES break, it's not dissmissed as a non-manufacturing defect.
Those that race with these on their Subarus and EVOs (or should I say 'did' race...) have essentially written off the $$ they paid for JICs because they cannot withstand the abuse of auto-x... and you can't sell in good conscience a strut that for all intents and purposes is broken to get their $$ back.
