Your not the only one that has a blast in winter in the 8, I love it also. Haven't had an problems in winter except really steep steep hills like the one for my drive way, but as long as I have some speed it's no problem.

I thought about buying a set of 16" A/T wheels and putting snow tires on those for the winter. Or I can just keep the 8 in the garage and drive my 200SX when it snows. But, I will probably put snow tires on the 8 so I can have some RWD fun in the snow. ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And the mods, I haven't really decided yet. I want to change out the amber side-markers (haven't decided clear or if they make smoked?), and I will probably be getting the Racing Beat exhaust. If I do decided to competitively race the 8 in auto-x, I will get a front sway bar and adjustable shocks so I can stay in B Stock. Which I might do, make the 8 my auto-x car and the Z as my track car. Plus, auto-x really isn't that hard on a car, so I would still be able to DD the 8.
