shayneypoo is the name my girlfriend and her friends call me.. it sort of stuck dont ask

thanks man. i hope to have a great time in this car. and i dont have the money for ANYTHING major right now... maybe something that is 100-300 bucks i can do occasionally but NOTHING big. sorry haha
well is you want you should buy the RB Ram air with a K&N drop in air filter... easy to install and it helps the acceleration just a bit but no to much

I'm a new driver myself and my 8 is my first car as well. You are going to get flamed by other people on here just because its your first car and you are a new driver. Trust me it happened to me. But other than that, dont drive like a moron and take good care of your 8.

Exactly.

Rootski, since we're asking favors here... Is there any way you can stop trying to be funny? It's not very becoming on you.

Best advice I've ever gotten? Go autocross your car. You'll quickly learn the difference between your capabilities and the capabilities of the car, plus it'll satisfy your inner speed demon for a while. It's low-speed, highly technical racing that's relatively easy on the car (compared to other forms of racing), and it's a ton of fun. Definitely try it out at least once, you won't regret it.

Did you pay for your car or did your dad just give it to you?

Good for you, Shayneypoo (hey, that rhymes!)

Somebody has to buy all those used AT 8's, you may as well be one of 'em.

Welcome to the feeding frenzy that is 8club. Don't get yourself killed running before you can walk.

Good luck, be safe. An AT 8 is never going to be fast so give up and enjoy the handling.

LOL! All this bashing on Leon. I think he deserves it for being super immature in the Walnut Meet thread, especially when all the name calling was all coming from him.

If you didn't have anything to do with saving up for the car, even partially, you tend not to appreicate it.

Look at what RPM the MT makes max horsepower, it should become quite clear why the AT makes less horsepower.
