Just a friendly Reminder

So i have had my new 2010 RX8 20 days now. We had our first real snow since then today. I had to goto work this morning and the weather was clear then, I also being a former 1987 RX7 gxl owner knew how rotaries do on the snow. What I had forgotten was I had all weather tires on the RX7 back then lol. I made it home ok @ 30 mph but had to have the wife drive it up the drive as I pushed the car to the left to keep it on the drive.

So Lesson REMEMBERED lol the RX8 is fine in crap weather only if the right tires are on her.

So what tire stores do you have near you? Costco?Sams? Any warehouse places? You might get some cheap 16 inchers on this site.

I think that same storm is headed my way. I gotta make my 2AM walmart run, then I'm gonna hunker down and see how the next few days look.

How much snow have you gotten so far?

Ugh. People lose their minds on the roads here in Va when it snows....

I'm not so much worried about my driving as i am some 19-year old jackass in a new american muscle car....

Glad to see another local on the boards! I had an 85 GLXE (?) been too many years ago... As long as you take your time, its not too bad... I drive mine everywhere in the snow... Just gotta watch out for other people!
