Just got home with my new car (I need a new DVD nav disc!)

Well I flew out 1,300km's to pick up my new car pretty much sight unseen... bought it and drove it home. I was the talk of the dealership and i'm sure they were trying to figure out if i was a drug dealer or not cuz they've never seen anyone both fly out of town for a car and put a $10,000 down payment in cash.

Car drives great, made it the whole 1,300km's no problem... gas mileage went from 405km on the first tank, 430km the next tank, then 460km for the last tank. The check engine light did come on just over half way home... not sure why or how to check the reason.

But long story short, my dvd nav system ran out of maps on the east side of canada. Does anyone have access to a newer dvd rom version for north america that includes east canada?

congrats on the purchase. Where are you from? I'd say somewhere in Britain / Canada due to the metric system.........

What year? Auto or Manual? Color?

Do you read? Why on earth would someone from Britain want maps for East Canada?

Honestly.

It's a 2004 GT, sunlight silver 6 speed, leather, nav, sunroof all that good stuff... mint condition more less.... and let me say wow this car is fast! Very impressed.

My dvd says "North America" in the menu, and has most of canada/usa... but i'm thinking maybe its Central NA? I'm not too sure on the nav stuff as of yet, have a big thick manual that i'm reading thru for the car.

But ya, if anyone does happen to have the DVD with the eastern maps of canada i'd love to have the ripped files from it or an iso that I can try to burn.

And PS. I was dropping someone off at work down town tonight, and her friend wants to call me now I havent even been home with the car 24 hours yet and i've already got a date.

now that I think about it, a coworker has a 2007 CX-7 with navigation. I think I'll ask him tomorrow to borrow his disk
