Just Got My Rx-8!!!!!!
Well I bought my RX-8 yesterday after selling my beloved Subaru WRX , so far I love the RX-8's interior!!! it's a lot better than the Subbie......the power is there but since I'm taking it easy on it for the break-in then I havent really compared that part with my old car......now on the handling on Dry roads is defently similar but on the rain I think the Subbie get's the 2 thumbs UP on this part. The looks of the RX-8 are awsome specially in the Titanium with All Black interior.....I'm new to this forum so I will be checking things out very often and will be posting pictures soon of my new baby.
P.S: Any one that is a member of the SCCA please send me a PM with INFO about next gatherings or Autocross events....I used to Autocross my old car....need to start doing the same on my new RX-8. :D :D

Congrats! As a fellow floridian and former awd owner, I wouldn't see why you need awd in fl, but some people like having that security. At least the rainy season is short and is over! =)

Does you car have the Traction Control funtion? Having that on helps with the grip on wet roads. The subbie is AWD so its superior on wet roads and in snow compared to many cars. Mine is two weeks old and its a great experience to drive it. I worry about the other drivers hitting it though!! Good luck as a new RX owner. Is it an 05 or 04?

04 Rx8
My car is a 2004 Titanuim on all Black interior with apperace pkg. I love the way it dirves and how smooth it is.
I know AWD is not needed in FL but the feel in the bad weather is worth every penny.
The RX8 was my first option between the Z and the S2000...I drove all and the none of them give you that feel like the RX8

Insanely Yellow
I drove a friend's WRX and was astounded by the lack of refinement and feeling of quality. The seats, plastics, etc. all feel cheap, the engine sounds rough and unrefined (LOTS of NVH), and the doors shut with a WHANG! like an old Dodge pickup truck.
You hop in an -8 and the doors shut easily with a nice thump, the engine sounds magical, and the quality is terrific.
No comparison. Is a WRX faster? I'm sure it is. But the -8 is 10x the car. Going fast isn't the only experience here.
Great choice and welcome to the cult.
