FYI this morning, it was 45 degrees here (Chicago area), and about 55 in my garage. Fired up the -8 and "beep" got the tire pressure monitor warning and beep. Off to the gas station for air - the rears were down to about 26 lbs and the fronts at 29. Brought them to 34 again and all is fine!
And since it reminded me, I drove BACK home, grabbed the wifey's minivan and did same ...
Last time my -8's tires were pressure checked was after I had just gotten done with my last autocross run of the day, and brought my tires down from 40 PSI to 32 PSI (hot tires) on a 90+ degree day labor day weekend. At 1 lb per 10 degrees, I'd say the tires went from 120 degrees down to 50 - a 7 lb change ...
