at last an rx-8 owner...
hey,
just posting to show my gratitude towards my parents.
I finally bought my rx-8 after so long. I was begging my parents from the age of 16 to get me the rx8.Being still only 17 and still not havin a licence to be able to drive legally(in cyprus we get our learning licence at 18).,is the worst fellin.I spend hours and hours just lookin at my car.
I imported it from japan.its the 250 bhp model with most extras.Titanium gray.I LOVE IT
Any general tips from expirienced rx-8 drivers i should know about
Thanks ,alex

Sorry to confuse you, but each car has a certain level of software flashed into it's Powertrain Control Module, (PCM). Retrieving the version number of this software would require the use of a diagnostic scan tool that plugs into the ODBII port located under your dash.
If you purchased the Scanalyser from http://www.performancedesign.com.au/, then you could run your own diagnostics when you have trouble codes thrown. It will also read your current level of software. I was mainly just curious as to what version the JDM cars run.
Now post some pics!
