Leading Link Steering

I hope that the RX-8 will have leading link steering. [Where the tie rod is in front of the wheel] I would guess that it does, considering just how far back and down the engine is set in the chassis.

The Infiniti G35 has the rack behind the front axle, and so does the new Z.

O.K. I’ll bite, what makes one better than the other?

The engine is set well aft of the front axle. I think it will be set fairly far down into the chassis in an effort to keep the CG low.

Not sure of the type of steering that you refer to. Just know that I want very quick steering and maybe 2.5 turns, lock to lock.
