I opened the first package of two bulbs that VLEDs sent to replace my other ones. Of the first package I opened, one of the two was already dead, fresh out of the package. Their customer service is great, but I'm not happy with the product. From the posts here, though, it doesn't sound uncommon. What a pain!!

Stenobeth,
This might sound stupid, but did you turn it around?
Did you look at the little wires coming out and make sure they were in the right position and not bent over where they wouldn't make proper contact?

Nothing sounds stupid to me... I still am a newbie. lol

This time I actually took it to the Mazda dealer to do it, so I'm hoping and assuming they tried all that stuff. The guy that was doing it is their RX-8 guy, he really likes the 8, and he knows how much I love my car, so I think he did everything he should have. I wasn't there to see, though.

But thanks, in the future I'll be sure to do all those checks when I get the other bulbs out of the packages.
