Let's hear it for the 8 !!!

In light of all the bitching and moaning that's been going on here......... I think it's about time for another round of applause and positive feedback for this masterpiece of a car !!!

Everyone please add to the list !!

(yes, i know it's a bit lame, but im so sick of reading complaints when the vast majority of people have no problems and are very happy with the car)

I'll start with something completely insignificant -

I love the little slot in the visor that is perfect for sticking important pieces of paper like parking garage receipts, business cars, appointment reminders............ or dare I say SPEEDING TICKETS !!!!

I'm a big fan of the heated seats that keep my booty toasty on those late nights with the windows down and sunroof open.

Here is something I posted the other day for a new member welcoming them to the club. This is appropriate to those who hear all of the rumors and stories and to the point:

Don't worry about the horse power, it gets you from point a to point bvery fast.

The gas mileage isn't really an issue, it uses a lot of fuel or a little it all depends upon how you drive it.

Most have said that it matters not what octane, 87 works as well as 92 and all in between.

Flooding? What flooding? A few have, most haven't. I've even done the dreaded start move and stop and it never flooded.

The stock tires will not drive in snow, know this now and plan for the future.

You are presently stuck with the radio it came with, but there are changes coming out every day.

The accessories are expensive but they will come down eventually, it's that way with every new model of a car.

There are improvement mods available, check out Canzoomer's Stage 1, soon to come stage 2, also several exhaust systems and intakes.

Love your RX-8, drive it like a banshee or like a Granny, either way you cannot abuse it.

Check your oil every 500 miles or so, it does use a bit, that is normal.

There's little mods to big mods...

Body kits that are still over priced but will drop eventually, also.

Consider getting some clear corner lights, this is by far one of the best looking things to do other than my third brake light RX-8 logo mod. (PM me, I can tell ya how)

Stickers are available for the RX-8 Club through PoLaK along with a few other ones he has.

Ignore the hemi powered pick ups and Dodge Stealth drivers who have something to prove, just drive on and don't give them the benefit of a look.

Show your colors, be proud, we know you will be because we are all just like you, still smiling from each and every time we have gotten behind the wheel of such a beautiful machine we love to call our own.

too many things to put my finger on. i'd have to say #1 for me is the stereo controls on my wheel. i love it. i'm all about sound. it's response to everything (gas/brakes/steering/swerving around old people) comes in close second. i'd have to say that feeling like i'm in a james bond car would be my third.
