Probably shouldn't surprise me Ike that you have the F&F memorized.

At the risk of encountering the wrath of an audience that, in some part, doesn’t take kindly to traitors, I’m also admitting that I’m about to give-up my ’04 RX-8.
Of all the cars I’ve had, it’s probably my favorite (with my ‘90 RX-7 a close second), but for practical reasons (oh, how I hate the sound of that) I’m trading in the 8 & my Explorer. Neither was great on gas mileage, and neither could take regular fuel. It was also expensive for the upkeep of both, including insurance. My RX-8 was my driving car, and the Explorer was for the grocery store, winter driving and schlepping stuff to and from my boat, especially in the spring and fall, bringing all the stuff necessary for winterizing and commissioning.
My requirements for a new car were that it be fun to drive, hold a crapload of stuff, and get decent gas mileage. So I’m getting an ’06 Mazda 6s Grand Sport 5-door. It obviously doesn’t have the cargo room of my Explorer, but with the seats folded down it’s surprisingly huge, and hopefully enough for most of my needs. And since I’m trading in both cars, it’s costing me little $$$ out of pocket.
I know I’ve posted very little here, though have found these boards to be an invaluable source of information. Not that I’d intended not to share, though it seemed that any wisdom I had to impart had already been posted. I’ll probably continue to lurk here, partly to look for tips/hacks with the Nav system (and post if I discover anything useful.) Thanks to all the regular posters for the help you’ve provided.
