I love the yellow.
After tinting the windows a few weeks back it's even better.
Great choice.

I love CYM (competition yellow mica) on the FD. For my money the best color in that car (although mine is Porsche black mettalic with Mercedes silver met. stripes). So when I heard there was going to be a yellow 8, I was like "I am all over that".
However, I don't like it in person nearly as much as I thought I would. Something about the shade of it and the lines of the car. So I got the winning blue and honestly couldn't be happier with the color.

I dontlike the color tones of the reds or yellows. Both were either too flashy when clean ortoo dull when dirty. I guess I havenever seen a freshly waxed red b/c Ive never liked it. I saw an odd red car coming from theother side of the road 2 weeks ago and it wasnt even a head turner. I heard a couple honks and then when I looked back Irealized it was a red Rx8.
Blue is decent and not as flashy as the other two and is verynice at times but whenits not clean it also tends to be dull.
Cant really say anything about black --this color neverdid anything for me in any car.
Green is very odd butoften it looks too close to black.
For me silver and gray are the best b/c they keep the sameappearance whether or not they are clean or dirty andthey dont shout at you to look at them. Yet I see a hidden beauty to both of them. I dont think theyre boring at all. I took titanium over sunlight silver b/c it seemed more aggressive andmasculine for me but if they didnt have titanium it would definitely been sunlight and then maybe blue.

As a previous owner of cars of virtually every color, I'd have never owned a Yellow one. I was lucky enough to view several different Mazda lots in the greater San Diego area and this car was the ONLY yellow I could find and it was the showroom example. Combined with a good tint, this combo is quite stunning (in my opinion). Black was my second choice as history will show silvers/greys and reds will be the most commonly seen.

Thanks for the compliment Doug - as for the wx, it's hard to complain here although I passed on the Supercross tonight due to some rare drizzle....I guess that makes me a fair wx fan.

you have palm trees in your picture. thats not fair. here in NJ we have road salt all over the place, temperatures in the teens and more snow on the way.
