Looking for advice...
... on selling my 8. Ownership of the car has a blast, but its time for me to get serious about my life and correct the mistake of buying a car in the first place. Two years ago in December I bought my 8 used. I was 20, dropped out of college and had/have a pretty decent job and I figured I wasn't going back to college. Plans changed when I finally realized what I wanted to do with my life. I have a lot of mistakes to correct before I can go back to attending college full-time and it starts with this car...
Its a 2005 base (genuine spoiler and built-in sirius added by me) and it now has 66k miles on it. I now owe $12,500 and private sale value of my car is around $12,410. I know I'm not going to get that. What would be the best way to sell my car? Craigslist? For sale outside my house? Someone said to take it to carmax and they'll make me an offer. Has anyone ever had experience with carmax? Any idea of what I can get? Its in good condition...

I know in the city that I live in there are plenty of places where you constantly see private sellers puttin their cars up for sale. They are usually places where the car is visible from the road and a lot of traffic comes through. When your not working, when the car would normally be in your driveway, park it there and get a ride home, and post your sale price OBO and see what happens. Hopefully people will make offers as our cars are eye-catching. Good luck w/ your sale!
