I've done a few searches on this forum but have found nothing. I am looking for a good RX-8 roatary engine mechaic/shop. I recently bought a 2004 and will need 60K service soon. I know of the dealers in Van Nuys, and Alhambra, but would love to find something closer to central LA or the westside. Also, are either of these delership service departments recommended?

I don't know of any in LA but I do have a GREAT shop in Huntington Beach. (if you're willing to drive the 20-25 minutes)

i've heard good things about rosenthal mazda. but i was interested in a shop where they will eventually start to recognize you and actually care about you coming back.

 

+1 on Neptune speed.. Been there twice, and the guys are the best...

 

Sounds like the place to go. I'll give them a shout tomorrow. Expensive, or are they reasonable?
I see on their website that they have an RX dock and some FC somethingorother. Good stuff, or quackery?

I'd like to bring it by a dealer to know if it has had all of teh recall things done (think so, but want to be sure). Recommendations?

never heard anything bad about neptune, i can also recommend www.lucky7racing.net, they do all my work

 

they're VERY reasonably priced. Tell them "George" the tall guy with the black RX-8 sent you.
