Lucky Brit's

Lucky?......
Pretty weak in my eyes.
Bilsteins, some stock sized rims and an exhaust - for a net gain of how many horsepower? Well......none, but check out those rims again!
....and the Nemesis version has even less, but more badges.

I don't think British people are lucky at all. I live here, I would know.
99% of them won't even touch the 8 because it's got bad gas mileage.
So what if they have an edition over here that lowers it a bit, and puts different rims on it. Other than the wing and a couple of badges, that's it! You pay a good $6,000 more for those in the package. Even getting the Mazdaspeed spoiler from a dealership, and all the other stuff, you could get it all for half that price! Plus you wouldn't be living in the UK... Stupid taxes and MOTs and such... Gah.

I dunno, I'd pay a little more if I wasn't going to mod the car as the stock suspension is pretty soft but not that much that's for sure. Maybe if it was that price and had the mazdaspeed body kit too it might be ok.

I would not mind getting my hands on those mirrors from the PZ edition. I wonder how hard that would be, and how much it would cost. The wheels look good too, but it is too bad they matched them to the body color of the Ti, I am not a fan of color matched wheels.

Strange though that it gets the 4 port engine (if I read it correctly on another thread).

It's simply a special edition 4port. Nemesis might be overnaming it, but they have to call it something.
It's nice to see the UK consumers are just as gullible as US ones though. A couple of badges, and a new paint scheme priced at a premium...

An imperial gallon is approximately 1.201 US gallons so the MPG will be 20% higher.

Thanks,
That explains it.

I actually wouldn't mind a 5 speed tranny in the MT version, 6-speed trannies are marketing gimmicks and few cars really need them, almost all modern 6-speeds have you skipping either 2nd or 3rd... and 4th or 5th. Altho the lower torque of the renesis might justify it a bit...
