Zoom Zoom magazine via work. I used to just get my dads old Car and Driver, Hemmings sports&exotic and also classics. Nissan Sport, free with Z membership. I also get my weekly helping of Top Gear if that counts.

AutoWeek, now A\W unfortunately. Was a weekly, now a bi-weekly. There goes the timely information.
Will likely look for another mag/newspaper with weekly publication. Interested mainly in the latest, TIMELY information on the auto industry and motorsports inside news. Any suggestions?

It isn't the same experience, but The Winding Road on-line magazine has some pretty good up to date info as does Automobile on-line.
Other than that, I don't know of any other paper rags besides Auto Week.

I'll check it out, Haze, but A\W is on-line, of course, with most of the content in the mag. It ain't the same for me. I'm looking for a hard copy pub. Thanks.
Edit: GRM is great for information on a variety of car enthusiast kinds of information like HPDE or racing, but since it is a monthly, news is not very timely.

I subscribe to Road & Track, Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Automobile (which all have pretty much same coverage). I buy monthly EVO, Car (sometimes), Performance Car - all UK mags (I think it's actually cheaper to buy these in the US on the stand than to subscribe due to cost of airmail).
EVO and Performance Car are probably 2 of the best and focus mainly on performance cars of all prices and types but you lose some American car coverage but gain some really good European car coverage.
I could take or leave Motor Trend and Car and Driver but they are so cheap to subscribe to that it's not worth canceling subscription.
I will also thumb through tuner mags and on occasion get one that has something that might interest me.
Performance Car has probably had the most of recent coverage of RX-8. They had a test of 40th anniv., a comparison test using the R3 against similar priced/powered coupes, a First Drive of the R3 and best of all a huge, complete buying guide of 2004-2008 RX-8 all within the last 6 months or so.

I subscribe to Motor Trend, Car and Driver and Road and Track. They do all have the same basic content in terms of what they are covering and reviewing: a Corvette feature in 10 issues a year, comparison of the same German "super sedans" six times a year, and at least one lengthy feature each month on a $200,000+ super car that only NBA stars and rappers drive. If you're into motor sports, I think Road and Track focuses on that more than the others do.
I dumped Automobile because that one, while not really very different than the others, it seemed a little longer on glossy photos and shorter on substance. The perfect car mag for people with ADD.
You might think about ordering through Amazon. I did that and now occasionally get offers for a free year of other mags with No Automatic Renewal. If they suck, you just ignore the notices begging you to renew and they go away. I got Rolling Stone (hilarious if you don't mind a mainstream magazine that tries to pretend it's hip and cutting edge) and Gourmet (worthless unless you have a good French-English dictionary and live next door to a store that sells rare ingredients like black truffles and duck fat).
