Man, I love this car!
Just broke 1,000 miles.
I don't care if it's low on torque. I absolutely love this car.
I've probably owned or leased 15 cars so far, including a Mustang GT and a Cadillac CTS, and this is my favorite by far. :D
Razor sharp steering, great rotary sound, taut but comfortable ride. Nice short throw shifter.
Pet peeve: Why'd they bury the dipstick so low, and so far back? It's bad enough that you have to remove the engine cover, but then, to check the oil, you have to reach back, in a still hot/warm engine bay, to reach the dipstick.
Plus, there's no engine light under the hood.
Oh well.
I love this car. Averaging 287 miles per tank. Fun mileage.

Wow! Great mileage.
I'm about to turn 15k on mine and I feel the same. I love the taut feeling this car conveys in all aspects - handling, driveline, braking, etc.
And yeah I've bitched about that oil fill cap and the buried dipstick, too. It would have been so easy to just extend the oil filler neck up a little and let the cap be flush with the motor cover. Could have put a neat rotary emblem on it, too. Same gripe about the dipstick. Oh well, that's pretty minor stuff .

I love my VR to death...the only cons I can think of are gas mileage (duh), could use a better a/c especially with this texan weather (it's still hot) and maybe a little more speed (which can be fixed with mods over time)
