'mayo' in oil

'mayo' in oil
........Not sure if this has been discussed here before. There appears to be an issue with 'mayo' forming in the engine oil of RX-8's used in colder climates. Does anybody know the cause and cure. I have heard various stories relating to condensation, air or fuel contamination. One thing is for sure, it ain't right, and Mazda should fix it.

Check these out, they should answer your questions. I'd never thought I'd say this, and trust me I'm not being mean, but you should try a search. I found these threads and more in less time than it too you to post. I wouldn't worry about the milky oil much. In short, it is condensation and it usually goes away in warmer temps. and/or if you drive longer distances. I had this problem with my ML320, so if Mercedes wouldn't do anything about it, I doubt Mazda will. Good luck.:D
Oh yeah, in one of those threads someone recommends removing you oil filler cap after driving so let some of the condensation out. I personally don't think it's that big a problem and I have over three years of warranty left. So my advice to ALL is to drive it like you stole it, don't worry about the little things, and be proud of how unique your car is. Hope that helped.
I see that's your first post, WELCOME.
