Ill jump into renesis07's argument a bit and say, i rather have the MS3 that ONLY runs .3-4 seconds slower than the cobalt.

At least i will have a better built car.

I loved my srt4, If you can get an 05 for 10k sign me up!! ill go buy one right now, for build wise i dont see much difference as quality inside from the rx8 and srt4 besides they look different, The cobalt is gay srt4 will always be superior to it, 500 dollars and you can be in low 13's w/ the srt.

There was a badass SRT4 at the track tonight!! Not sure what he had done but it was loud and he was running constant low 12's.

It's a fast car, but it's hard to drive it fast. Torque steer, limited traction (thanks, FWD!), and quite possibly the BOV all helped to knock the times down. If I'm just mashing the throttle, I can spin my wheels like I'm standing still all the way into third.

like whoever said early we all have to agree to disagree, I think they are all nice cars, and can all be potentaily realy quick. *just didnt like seeing the srt4 being bashed im thinking about buying another one, just b/c its such a fun and easy car to mod and sound so badass!

that srt4 was prolly just a stage II kit on it about 2500 bucks i think for the whole kit. my buddy had a stage two srt and would run 12.9 on the stock 205's so if he would put some bigger tires he would easily hit mid to low 12's i bet.

then he tried racing a porche on the interstate and turned up his boost all the way and over boosted it hit like 30 psi after that started eating a quart of oil a day. lol! but kep up w/ the porche till about 155.

According to my unverified, unconfirmed, uncalibrated Cobb AP...using MM's maps...

N/A GT Trim

0-60 @ 6s (+/- .4) average...5.6s best time...
1/4 @ 14.4s (+/- .5) average...14.0s best time...

I'm still working on setup...but its no slouch after you get it all sorted...this is the way it should have left the factory...heh

I'm going up against a GTO soon for benchmark purposes...so I'll have some solid numbers hopefully later...
