Hey i just got a letter in the mail yesterday saying this from mazda anyone else get these?

(Mazda dealership i bought from) has been selected as a site to conduct a special market test pricing and financing even. You have been identified as a potential customer with a highly sought-after used vehicle.

We are in desperate need to acquire several pre-owned 2006 mazdas by september 18, 2006 in order to fulfill special used vehical request. Our records indicate you own one of these vehicals and our new car managers have been authorized to buy back your current vehicle.

We would like you to exchange your 2006 vehicle for any new 2006 or 2007 mazda. With incentives and generous trade-in values, we feel confident that you can make this exhange with little or no out-of-pocket expense and with a monthly payment that fits your budget.

Bring this letter for admittance to this event and present it to an authorized represenative.

Call them back, tell the sales manager you received the letter, and tell him that you will come in to the dealership to sign the title over the your car after they wire your Nigerian uncle 1 meeeeellion dollars (make sure to pronounce it 'meeeellion').

 

I received one a few weeks ago from the dealership I had purchased my 8 from.

 

Did it come in an envelope marked "dated material, open immediately"?
And did it say "publisher's clearing house" on the back?

One born every minute etc etc.

 

I got one yesterday for my Kia. They invited me in for a buy back program specific for my used vehicle.

Translation: We need to sell more cars and want you to come in and trade yours in for a new one...

I just got one last month on a 1988 Volkswagen Jetta that I think was crushed after I sold it in 1993.

 

Sounds fair...sooooo contact them back and say that you'll let them buy it back...for the exact price you paid for it. No trade-in BS.

yea, i've gotten #4 on all 3 of my scratch-offs so far. I think it's rigged.

 

The BBQ buzzard ***** are the bomb!
I think they are rare too.

Just another advertisement for trading in your vehicle. What's all the fuss? Anybody can sell you something and "buy it back" a year later. Of course they'll give you less for it, cars are depreciating assets.

 

They can have it for 17 million, do we have a deal?
