Mazda & Mazdaspeed - Please Read!

This thread is for those who want to sound off (beg on your hands and knees) to Mazda and MazdaSpeed to build a MazdaSpeed RX-8. Please post your comments.

My comments:
Please, please, please build a half-way reliable RX-8 with a turbo/intercooler or supercharger! I'll be waiting to purchase my 8 until you do. I want to be able to walk all over that retarded Z.

I think a Mazdaspeed RX-8 would be great! But i was thinking more along the lines of a higher redline NA RENIES making say 280-300hp, with a sportier exhuast, lighter weight components, front lip and other small cosmetic changes to set it apart and give it a sportier look.

Sportier seats and interior would be very cool too.

higher than 9,500 rpm? you would need 8 speed to try to shift it properly...wait for new rx-7

RX-eVolve was sporting a 11krpm redline with max HP at 10.5krpms and 280hp...
Just put a lightwieght flywheel and an al driveshaft on it and your set.

Please don't make us wait. Do not punish the Mazda Zealots like me who have already placed a deposit by making the non performance (less performance?) model all that is available initially.

Oh, and I could really care less if it has a turbo or not. As long as it tops 280 hp. A 20B Renesis would be a nice touch, but if that's in the cards, it's probably for the RX-7, or the RX-9 (no more RX-7?) sports car. More power without a turbo would be great! :D
