The RX-7 is faster. Yes, by about 15-25 horsepower. Can you say, twin-turbo?

RX-8=26k-34k. NO TURBO.
RX-7=(brand new)=36k-42k. TURBO.... lets think for a second. Oh wait, that was too long. I guess you need a break to reassemble your pride

RX-8 mileage=17-23
RX-7 mileage=12-15

There are going to be negative things said about our cars and there is nothing we can do to stop it. The mods don't support going to these sites/forums and start a war on who's dick is bigger. Besides, these are teenagers that believe the RX-8 is a successor to the RX-7...enough said.

Not haters - ignorant and immature. I have not met a SINGLE mature driver who bashes other cars, makes, etc. Id Est, EVERY driver I know worth his salt enjoys cars.

If everyone posted the links they find where the RX-8 gets bashed those posts would dominate these forums. In general many car communities are pretty disappointed in the RX-8, the history of the rotary still places a stigma on the RX-8, as does the performance of the FD. If these turbo kits end up being somewhat reliable, and if Mazda impresses with the Mazdaspeed version this will change, but for now get used to it or don't read other car forums.

It is a chick car...my wife has one :D

I would not worry about what people say. It may not be the fastest 0-60 but it is quick enough, looks great and is fun to drive. If you are one of those guys that HAS to be the fastest car light to light that's another story but to tell you truth I am more likely to get a ticket in this car than my 300+hp/tq mustang.... it's just too easy to throw around the back roads and not realize how fast you are going.

 

Well that's it. If THEY don't like it, then damnit, I'm selling it. Afterall, they ARE the experts on all things in life, right?
