Which is the best? I love the rx8, im getting one myself.
Butttt... many people have told me to get the z.. what do you all think?

well considering ur on a rx8 forum u figuere it out lol rx8= fun to drive, great handling,sexy 350z= fast,sexy,no back seat,i hear not so comfortable.. just dont buy a rx8 and complain its not fast enough thats all, only way to make fast is nitrous, or FI... FI is not cheap

 

in simpler terms, the rx-8 is like ocean's 11; it's clever, smart, elegantly engineered, a bit nerdy, and tons of fun. the z, on the other hand, is like a jerry crockheimer movie, say armageddon. it's loud and, well, loud, entertaining, but a bit stupid, like a big dumb animal =P

You're asking about a 350Z on a forum full of hardcore rotary enthusiasts. Of course everyones comments will say that the Z is not fun/cool as the 8.

In my opinion, the Z's capability is pretty much on par with the 8. The Z's handling is still incredible just like our 8's, the Z's power overpowers the 8, and it's a great car for enthusiasts. The 8's gas mileage is pretty bad compared to the Z but the comes with seating for 4. Alot of people complain on the Z's ergonomics, but like said before, it's more for an enthusiast. I love my 8, I just wish I had power and mpg like the Z.

Well, if you're into beating high school kids off of red lights then the Z is for you.

However, if you consider driving to be a fun way to unwind and relax and/or get invigorated and charged up, get the 8.

Rx8 - Seats 4, smooth rev, great handling, looks nice, OK trunk space

350z - 2 seater, Strong torque, OK handling, looks nice, almost no trunk space.

 

 

i won't lie, the zed is an interesting car, but i've fallen in love with a better woman and i woudnt give her up for the world

Just because this have been discussed a gazillion times before.

 

According to the top gear episode (i dont know which one but it is out there) the bmw m3, the 350z, and the RX-8 scored the exact same track time. this means if u want to brag about how u can keep up with ppl who have 70 more horsepower than u then the RX-8 is the PERFECT car for u.
Its definately the perfect car for me!

I love my RX8. And I get goose bumps every time I watch the Top Gear Review.

The best part is you get to go to the track and blow by all the guys in "faster" cars that talk smack about your 4 door.

 

I don't know why he thinks the 8 is ugly, I guess it just isn't third world enough for England.

 

just get a z the gas prices are too high right now and plus im pretty sure ur gonna want to drag all the time anyway
