the mpg for our cars hasn't changed, the EPA rated mpg for our cars hasn't changed, i'm not quite sure what it is that you guys are really talking about.

Yes, the EPA rated MPG has changed, as it has for pretty much all cars.

I guess I got lucky with the mileage on my car. I've gotten between 20 and 21 MPG on 5 tanks (20.3 MPG over 1321 miles.) I don't race, but I don't drive like a granny either, and make sure to redline at least once a day.

i get better than EPA milage with the AT rx8, with the MT, I don't even know the definition of MPG anymore

Then mazda should change their site because according to how their's is worded it makes it seem only on the 2008 model and newer has the EPA MPG changed. Sorry my bad.

In the real world they do about 2 to 3 better in the city and higher on the Highway.
