mazda warranty rotary core specs

Any info to tell me if I got any upgrades in my replacement engine? Or, did I just recieve the same engine with 2 oil injection ports?
This is a 2005 6 speed
Thanks

umm... what?
Chances are, you have the same engine. No upgrades.

The Series 1 ecu does not run the MOP that the Series 2 motors use to run the "upgrades"

The new housings do come with casting alterations in the center where the third nozzle goes...but it isnn't drilled out in the parts designated for the Series 1's

OK thanks. Wasn't sure. Had to find out if it may have been as simple as tapping the new port into existing plumbing. Sounds a little more involved....
Now I know it is the same engine, and glad for that info.
