Mazda webpage: The Drive
I spotted this link on the Mazda USA site:
http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/disp...meter=theDrive
Features our very own RX-8 and also has the MX-5. What I found really neat was setting the music option to: "Sounds of the Road".. basically just engine sounds w/o the loud music and a bit of cabin noise (you can hear rocks too if you're in the side view)... AND setting the angle to "Driver Angle". I think the rotary note is a bit exaggerated (it always sounds like a jet even at cruising speeds ), but still sounds cool.
I have a friend who would love to feel what it's like to be in the car but may never get to see mine because he's very far away.. but I this could be the closest thing to experiencing being in one.. and being way more polished than filming your own
(Sorry if this may be a repost, but I didn't see an earlier thread.)

Nice.
you cant see the speed that the car is going. Thats pretty smart so Cops cant sue them for speeding
the dude whos driving it is probably a racer, at least he knows how to downshift/rev match perfectly.

Sometimes I drive under 3K, but that just aint fun, and happens ONLY if my GF is in the car, cuz if I go high, the engine sound will be loud, I like it, but my GF will wet her pants and start saying *Slow down!!!!* .... bummer .....

Hahaha well I do drive like that too... but everytime I read about cruising RPMs on the forum it seems every one chugs along at 2k and I'm a maniac for keeping it a 3.5k-4k
Anyhow one of my New Year resolutions is to drive it in the 5k to 7k range much more often since it's the optimal way to enjoy it. That and kissing the redline :P
The only thing is, cruising around a 5k with the MS dual is quite the attention getter. Ok it's not a catless LS1 but still...
love the sound tho
