Mazdaspeed body kit ground clearance?

Does anyone know the ground clearance difference between appearance package and MS body kit? I would like to know with stock suspension set up; what is the ground clearance on MS body kit? Thanks in advance.

MS kit with Tein S-Techs = 4.18" clearance.

S-Techs = 1.4" drop in front, .7" drop in rear:

MS Kit front clearance ~5.6". No clue what the OEM kit front clearance is.

Thanks. I have searched the archives. There is 5" to 5.5" from variant sources for front clearance. But I think it is good enough.

The difference isn't much and the MS front doesn't stick out either, so you won't have to change your driving style much.

The difference is about an inch; and believe me when i say you WILL have to change your driving style somewhat dramatically if you plan on even a slightly lower stance.

with any body kit , your driving style will have to change if you want it to survive . I don't even get near **** up streets and if I see a speed bump , i'm out . There are usually sign warning us about them ...Its not my daily driver so i can get away with that . I don;t need to take it everywhere . Take that into account .

Good luck..........

more like we should all stand up against our ******* government's lack of ability to fix the roads properly. (yeah not enough money right? stop wasting money for greedy politicians)

Im not sure about the rest of the US, but NYC has the shittest roads (out of 4 stats I've been to, NJ, PA, DC/VA, MA)

i don't consider having to turn your wheel just a little bit when you exit a driveway too dramatic. that's all i had to do when i lowered 1.8 inches on stock. if you wanna see dramatic you should see how i exit my driveway. lol

I hear ya, I'm lowered about .75 inches so with the MS bumper I'm right there.
I'm used to it now, but some people probably won't like scouting out gas stations to see which ones their cars can get in and out of without hearing the horrible sound of MS bumper on concrete

Actually, I-95 in New York from about White Sands to Connecticut (northbound and southbound) has by far the smoothest highway road surface I have ever been on. It -LOOKS- jacked up, patched to hell, but I swear they took an asphalt Zamboni to it and polished it smooth. I love that section every time I drive through (Rhode Island <-> Maryland)
