So I read an old magazine the other day and I saw a excerpt about the mazdaspeed rx8 and was wondering if mazda pursued that project or what.....I read it had a supercharger on it and didn't know if it was a done deal or went into production or anything just waondering on the update if you guys could help thanks

It was in the inaugural SPEED magazine (about a year or two ago). That was a technology vehicle (showing what they could do with the car). No plans to do any of that in the production vehicle.

Yeah it was in SPEED magazine and it was pretty impressive even thought it wouldnt give out a lick of info about what was under the hood.....disappointing but got lots of people's hopes up

 

i dont think you would get much out this engine and thats why mazda hasnt release a Speed 8 yet. shoulve had a 3 rotor and let the emissions kill us all,
