This morning I was watching Speed Channel and there was a road test on the Mazdaspeed RX8. It was either on Autoweek or Autoline Detroit.

I'm sure it will be on again this week and well worth watching. Check your local listings.

They loved the looks, handling, :D and sound but not the lack of power for the money.

Of note--it was not really a Mazdaspeed RX8--but an RX8 with the Mazdaspeed add ons.

You can buy all the suspension bits, save the chassis stifing underbody stuff, on mazdaspeed, costs a pretty penny however.

Me too. Every time I turn it on it's NASCRAP !!!!!

 

I don't even have the Speed channel!

 

In this case I'd say the review is accurate. Without FI, not much change in performance as stock RX8s but at $10k cost.

 

I would buy the sport coilovers or at least the lower springs and teh body kid as well as the chassis stifling bars (forget the name, it escapes me) and maybe some better brake pads with some slotted and drilled roters.


Thats about it, just sit back and wait for Greddy to come out with a Turbo Kit.
