Thanks for the quick reply. I wonder how visible they are down there.

they work fine. I have them in my car.

you don't need to be watching oil/water temp or oil pressure non stop. glance at them once in a while.

True enough. Are those gauges any good or should I just buy the pod and different gauges?

they're mechanical. they work fine. you'd be wise to get the braided steel hose for the oil pressure line though. The thin transparent plastic one doesn't do it for me..

in the racing beat pod thread, the part # and links are listed for this item.

Yeah I was looking at that. Always have been nervous about running mechanical gauges, especially oil and fuel into the car.

only the oil pressure sends fluids in.. the other two are just temp sensors.

you can buy the pod for $99. the oil sandwich is like 60, and the water is around 20. then buy gauges. the only thing missing is a brace to hold your gauges to the pod. I was going to buy the parts then assemble myself, but I didn't want to futz around with finding a brace, so I bought the kit premade, then replaced the oil line with the metal hose.

Sure. It's always useful to know what is happening with your car.
