Meguiar's "Hot Rims" Cleaner
Anybody ever use this product?

I actually used a whole bottle of this stuff over the past month an a half when cleaning my car (about 3 washes, bi-weekly). The stuff works great, but, I noticed that for the second time, it caused my brake pads to stick to the rotor (or so I assume).
After spraying it on, i give it a bit to do its magic, and then wash it off with a stream of water. It leaves some grime(?) behind on my rotor, but on their forums they indicated that this was normal, and it comes off after a first drive (pumping the brakes helps when going up a vacant road).
When i park my car in my garage, as always I will leave the e-brake up, which I think causes the pads to stick to the grime overnight. This morning I was ready to leave for work, turned the car on, dropped the ebrake, reverse gear, slow acceleration, then BANG!!!. Its a horrible sound, almost sounds like someone took a mallet to my rotor.
I am thinking that from now on, anytime i use this stuff and then park it in the garage, I will just leave the car in gear and not use the ebrake until I drive the car so the grime gets off the rotor.
Any one else run into this issue?

Well as weird as it is, there was resistance when i tried to back out, after the big bang all was well.

it's not b/c of the wheel cleaner. it's the oxidation of the rotors after getting wet and sitting all night. mine does that too after i was my car. once you use your brakes and get it all off the rotors are clean.

Ah ok good deal, thanks guys, just making sure I wasn't going to damage something down there.

I have the wheel cleaner too. it rusts the rotors very quickly.
to OP, I just leave my car in gear if parked on a pretty flat place. if its on an incline, I use both.
you can drive the car around a bit before you put it in the garage too.
