Mileage increase by 25%!
Hello guys,
My car has now 2700 km and I did in general 350-375 km with one gas tank. This week, the only thing that I have changed is that I have pushed the engine a little more (up to 6000 rpm) and I am rev the engine higher in general. I also put oil, 3/4 of a bottle (now at full). My gas tank is at half right now and I did 235 km! Strange? A mileage increase of 25%! Breakage period? I am not complaining
Also, I used the same roads (from home to work). No change there. I used the same octane 91.

hehehe, i don't know if it's the way i drive my car now then last year (i think it's the same). But my milage has seen a significant DROP.. I'm barely getting 300km/tank and that's about 50/50 highway/road..
I don't really care because I have so much fun but still.. it's dropped

Hey, I thought it was just me. Now there's another one here that realized higher MPG just by driving at a higher RPM range. I explained this phenomena in my "3000 - 3500 RPM range is the key" thread last year.
It was mostly theoretical...
